The National Centre of Science and Technology Education, a 3-storey building is situated at the SAID JAMALUDEEN Normal College, in southwest of Kabul. The construction of the project is comprised of teaching building, lecture hall, library, laboratory and teaching aids workshop, and educational furniture and laboratory equipment provided accordingly.
It represented as a model of cooperation in the filed of education between China and Afghanistan. The project itself marked as milestone of modern education architecture in Afghanistan with its unique design and advanced facilities.

China-Aid Project of Afghanistan Vocational and Technical Institute is comprised of new constructions and maintenance rehabilitation works. It covers an area of 1.5 hectares for new constructions with total floor area of 15,382 sqm including: complex building; teaching building; dormitory building and exterior works. The design working life of the project said to be 50 years. Waterproofing standard for roof and basement is defined as grade I and the parameter of seismic fortification intensity evaluated as Degree VIII. The maintenance and rehabilitation works are comprised of 4 training workshops namely as First Auto Repair Shop, Second Auto Repair Shop, Mechanical Processing Workshop and Housing & Civil Engineering Workshop with total forage of 1,753 sqm.
Upon completion and final acceptance certified, the project has been entitled as excellent engineering. It represents one of crucial livelihood projects aided by China and listed as key project of “Belt and Road Initiatives” between China and Afghanistan. The completion of the project will assist Afghanistan to achieve the implementation of vocational education on a massive scale and nurture talents with professional expertise in the field of architecture, engineering, machinery who are urgently needed for post-war reconstruction in Afghanistan.
